:iconfuzzy-cream:

:la: -YES!!!! a new sprite of my little character, the Anymal! (anything-animal)
for a larger picture, [link]

The story of why he is here

last year my art class was before the 3D design class and most of the people in the 3D art class were making paper-mâché animals. I had no idea what it was. So my friend and I asked the teacher (my friend thought it was a giraffe, I said horse). The teacher said it was a bird. But I liked it and bought for a dollar from the guy who made it, and fixed his leg so now he can stand up-right

 He is cute!!

and... I am practicing in my spare time drawing him!

How this gets to DA-

:bulletyellow: Penciled in on lined paper-
Lined paper because,

1. I have it
2. easier to make guidelines than a blank, white sheet of paper
3. The threshold button makes it easy to take out the light blue lines, but keep the ink.

:bulletblue: Ink it

:bulletgreen: Scan, take to Photoshop

:bulletyellow: Threshold, letter, color

:bulletblue: save original, shrink 50% and save copy. When I have 2 copies I put them together and shrink it another 50% and upload to DA.
Why I upload pages 2 at a time,

1. So it is wider than taller (most computer screens are not 8.5x11)
2. It helps keep panel count down
3. More story! Less click!

:blahblah: -sorry for the wall of words...

  • Mood: Zest
  • Listening to: ELO
  • Watching: Penguins of Madagascar
  • Drinking: Tea- always
